Azerbaijan and Türkiye intend to expand cooperation in the healthcare sector

Health Minister Teymur Musayev met with a delegation led by Şamil Ayrım, head of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group and a member of parliament from Istanbul.
Postxronika.az reports that the meeting discussed ways to expand cooperation between the two countries in the healthcare sector, exchange of experience, and the development of medical education.
Teymur Musayev highlighted the importance of Türkiye’s advanced healthcare experience for Azerbaijan and drew attention to opportunities for collaboration in training medical personnel, introducing modern technologies, and digitizing healthcare.
Şamil Ayrım, in turn, thanked for the warm reception and stressed the importance of further developing ties in the healthcare sector.
The parties exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest and expressed their confidence that Azerbaijan–Türkiye healthcare cooperation will continue successfully in the future.
