Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov has said that reaching an arms control agreement with the US requires long and comprehensive negotiations.
Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that Peskov said the process is complex and results should not be expected in the short term.
He noted that long-term expert-level talks must be held on the issue. The US has previously said any new agreement should cover China alongside Russia. Moscow, for its part, considers it important that a possible new document take into account the nuclear arsenals of US allies in Europe, including Britain and France, alongside those of Russia and the US.
