ADY was represented by a separate stand at the event, where issues such as digital transformation, the application of artificial intelligence, and improving the efficiency of international freight transportation were discussed. During the visit, the head of the organization also toured the international exhibition “TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026”, getting acquainted up close with advanced transport and logistics solutions.
Postxronika.az reports, citing ADY, that within the framework of the forum Rovshan Rustamov held bilateral meetings with the heads of railway companies in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. During the talks, consideration was given to the development of the Middle Corridor, increasing the volume of transit freight shipments, and opportunities for efficient use of regional transport corridors. The parties emphasized the importance for regional connectivity of improving rail infrastructure, logistics services, and digital data exchange.
Expanding cooperation in the railway sector with Central Asian countries further strengthens Azerbaijan’s position as a strategic transit hub. The implementation of joint digital solutions provides a basis for accelerating coordination on freight shipments and optimizing transportation costs. Linking the region’s trilateral transit potential makes a significant contribution to the region’s economic integration and to an increase in trade turnover.
