EU approves 6.6 billion euros in funding for Ukraine

European Union member states have approved 6.6 billion euros in financing for Ukraine.
Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that this was announced by the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas. She said the funds will be allocated under the European Peace Facility.
According to Kallas, 900 million euros will go to the EU's Military Assistance Mission for Ukraine, and 1 billion euros will fund joint procurement. A further 4.7 billion euros will be allocated to reimburse the countries participating in the program.
