"AzerGold" OJSC was represented at the UIMF 2026 international forum

"AzerGold" OJSC was represented at the 8th International Mining and Metallurgy Forum held in Tashkent. The event, organized on October 27-28, was attended by representatives of government bodies and leading companies from 19 countries. Speaking at the plenary session, İlyas Ismayilli, head of "AzerGold Uzbekistan," shared information about strategic partnership in the mining and metals industry.

Postxronika.az reports, citing OJSC, that the presentation highlighted details of the geological exploration project to be carried out at the "Akba" gold deposit in Uzbekistan. Opportunities for conducting research on rare earth elements at promising sites in the Navoiy region were also discussed. It was emphasized that the friendly relations between the leaders of the two countries have provided a strong impetus for the implementation of large-scale joint projects in the mining sector.

The forum on resource security and a sustainable economic model in Central Asia further deepens bilateral cooperation. The promotion of Azerbaijan’s mining expertise to foreign markets showcases our country’s industrial potential on an international scale. Joint geological exploration projects also create favorable conditions for entering the markets of third countries in the future.
