Our servicemen in exercises in Pakistan: Tasks were carried out successfully

A group of servicemen of the Azerbaijani Navy took part in a special operations training held in Pakistan. The event, carried out under a bilateral protocol signed between the two countries’ defense agencies, took place in Karachi. During the practical drills, special forces personnel carried out tasks to free a vessel seized by terrorists. At the same time, the crew successfully conducted rescue of hostages and difficult diving operations.
Postxronika.az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence, that the main purpose of the joint exercises was to exchange mutual experience in conducting special operations. The servicemen, having become familiar with security standards, adapted live-fire and maritime missions to real combat conditions. Important steps were taken to ensure coordinated activity of units during anti-terror measures. In line with the training program, national Navy Headquarters representatives completed all tasks with high professionalism.
The military personnel of the two partner countries demonstrated mutual coordination in complex circumstances and fully achieved the set objectives. In the final stage, official certificates were presented to the participants who successfully completed the missions. The event, which contributes to the development of military cooperation, concluded with taking commemorative photographs.
