Kremlin: Moscow has responded to attacks on Russian merchant ships

Ukraine's attacks on Russian merchant ships, tankers and vessels flying foreign flags have prompted Moscow to take countermeasures.

Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that this was stated by Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov in comments to journalists.

Peskov also said there is no need to rush the appointment of new Russian ambassadors to Britain and France.

According to him, the absence of normal bilateral relations with these countries justifies delaying such a decision.
