Rubio: limited ceasefires won't resolve the Ukraine conflict

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that reaching only a limited or temporary ceasefire in Ukraine will not ensure a full resolution of the conflict.
Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that Rubio said, following a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, that both sides have shown interest in a limited ceasefire covering grain and energy supplies.
According to him, while such an agreement would not end the war, it could somewhat ease global pressures. Rubio stressed that the conflict will end not on the battlefield, but through an agreement reached via negotiations.
