Zakharova calls Zelensky a “insatiable monster”

Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky an “insatiable monster” for asking the European Union for €70 billion in 2027 for the country’s military needs.

Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that Zakharova said Zelensky is deliberately exploiting the European Union’s migration problems and has resorted to open threats.

Zakharova also said that Russia is actively preparing for the meeting of the foreign ministers of the G20 countries to be held in Atlanta, while expressing concern that the United States side is creating artificial restrictions on Russia’s full-fledged participation.

According to her, although the list of the Russian delegation was submitted to the United States two months ago, problems arose regarding the composition of the delegation, visas and accreditation.
