Routes of bus lines No. 147 and 179 changed

Due to repair work at the intersection of 28 May and Jalil Mammadgulu-lyuzade streets in the capital’s Mehdiyabad settlement, restrictions were imposed on traffic movement. Because the road was closed, temporary changes were made to the route schedules of regular buses No. 147 and 179 passing through the area. During the repair period, bus line No. 147 will operate toward the “Azadlıq Prospekti” metro station, using alternative streets that pass through the Digah area without entering the center of the settlement.

Postxronika.az reports, citing AYNA, that the movement of bus No. 179 will be organized via Fazil Ismayilov, Məhəmməd Əmin Rasulzade, Nariman Narimanov and 28 May streets. After the repair and restoration works are fully completed, the vehicles’ original route will be restored. To ensure passengers’ comfort, the carriers operating on the lines have instructed drivers to follow temporary rules.

Upgrading inter-settlement road infrastructure in the capital is intended to reduce traffic congestion and ensure traffic safety. Despite temporary inconveniences, directing traffic along alternative streets helps maintain uninterrupted public transportation. Timely completion of the repair works will ensure that residents of the settlement are provided with a higher-quality and more convenient transport service.
