Food safety monitoring under the FIFA U-15 World Cup
RH
During the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival held in Baku, large-scale monitoring measures are being implemented to ensure that event participants eat safely. Specialists from the Food Safety Agency keep a close watch on compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements in the food outlets for athletes and guests. During inspections, samples are taken from kitchens and dining halls and sent to laboratories for relevant analyses.
Postxronika.az reports with reference to the Food Safety Agency that, through mobile laboratories operating in the area, the quality of food products is assessed on the spot in a timely manner. The storage conditions of products and the stages of preparation are monitored closely and on an ongoing basis by specialists. The main goal is to protect guests’ health within the framework of the international sports tournament and to organize safe food provision at a high level.
Paying special attention to food safety at events of an international scale is one of the key factors that enhances the country’s image as an organizer. The introduction of mobile laboratories makes it possible to identify potential risks in time and prevent cases of poisoning. Preventive measures by state institutions ensure reliable protection of participants’ health at large-scale competitions.
