With the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Defence and senior guests, the joint tactical flight exercise “Eagle Vision-2026” held a “High-Level Observer Day.” Beginning with a minute of silence in memory of the fallen and the playing of national anthems, the event featured a briefing by Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov on the exercise’s objectives and phases. With more than 600 servicemen from two countries and various aviation assets involved, the manoeuvres focused primarily on enhancing mutual understanding and joint operational capability between the Air Forces.
Postxronika.az reports, citing the MoD, that the guests closely followed the course of air operations and the flights in which aircraft displayed the national flags. Within the exercise, which began on October 12, observers highly assessed the professionalism of servicemen carrying out search-and-rescue and defence-offence missions in combat conditions. At the end of the ceremony, event participants got acquainted in detail with the military aviation equipment involved in the manoeuvres.
Joint exercises held between the armed forces of Azerbaijan and the UAE serve to strengthen bilateral military cooperation and strategy. The experience gained in planning air operations raises the combat readiness of personnel to a new quality level. Such large-scale international military initiatives further enhance our country’s defence capability and aviation capabilities.
