On October 9, a ceremonial swearing-in ceremony for young cadets was held at the Academy of the State Border Service. During the event, the Combat Banner was brought in, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our fallen servicemen was honored with a minute of silence, and the State Anthem was played. Speakers stressed that the state policy implemented under the leadership of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, serves to ensure the reliable protection of our borders.
Postxronika.az reports, citing the State Border Service, that after the cadets solemnly took the military oath, DSX chief, General-Polkovnik Elchin Guliyev, delivered his congratulations to the personnel. In the course of the ceremony, the cadets who spoke pledged to serve with honor on our liberated lands and to steadfastly protect state interests. At the end of the event, a commemorative photo was taken with the young servicemen and the leadership.
The joining of young people who have taken the military oath to the ranks is an important next contribution to strengthening our country’s border security and defense potential. The modern training conditions and material-technical base established at the academy provide the foundation for producing highly qualified officer cadres. The cadets who have taken on an honorable and responsible mission will remain true to the sacred oath and serve the Motherland.
