Moscow is ready to consider proposals from US representatives, but does not intend to make political concessions.
Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that this was stated by Russia’s foreign minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with university graduates who were received into the diplomatic service for the first time.
According to Lavrov, the proposals that US special representative Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will bring to Russia will be considered. He noted that the proposals could be accepted if they are beneficial to Moscow in economic and financial terms.
The minister emphasized that Russia should rely only on its own strength to safeguard its interests on global issues.
