Russia and Ukraine exchange 270 servicemen each in a prisoner swap

Russia and Ukraine have carried out a reciprocal exchange of servicemen held in captivity. The parties handed over 270 servicemen each.

Postxronika.az TASS reports that this was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It was stated that the servicemen returned to Russia are currently in Belarus. After they receive initial medical and psychological assistance, they will be taken to Russia, where they will receive treatment and rehabilitation in the Defense Ministry’s medical facilities.

The ministry said that the United Arab Emirates provided humanitarian intermediation in carrying out the exchange.
