Russian President Vladimir Putin said that it is important to stop conflicts and remove sanctions to stabilize the international gas market. He noted that Europe’s refusal of Russian energy resources has harmed its own industry and social sphere.
Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that Putin made these remarks at the summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).
According to the Russian leader, the forum participants provide around 40 percent of global gas exports. He stressed that among member countries, dialogue is developing without market manipulation and that the cooperation of gas-exporting countries does not violate international law.
