The Russian Ministry of Defense says that near the town of Alyoshki in the Kherson region, more than 300 explosive devices and mines—without Ukrainian production and belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces—have been rendered safe over the past week.
Postxronika.az reports citing TASS that, according to the ministry’s information, Ukrainian servicemen place mines at a distance on the roads leading to the city in order to prevent the evacuation of civilians and to hinder the delivery of medicines.
It was reported that over the past week, 18 artillery strikes were carried out on the city and on main roads, and more than 120 drone attacks were conducted. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that Kyiv has been regularly shelling the roads to Alyoshki for more than two years.
