Russia’s Defense Ministry says it has taken control of Omelnyk

Russia’s Defense Ministry said the settlement of Omelnyk in the Zaporozhye region came under the control of Russian forces over the past day.

Postxronika.az reports with reference to TASS that, according to the ministry, units of the “East” troop grouping continued their offensives and advanced in the area.

The ministry also claimed that over the past day, the Ukrainian army lost approximately 1,235 servicemen in various directions of the front. According to the information, the losses were recorded in the responsibility zones of the “North,” “West,” and “South” troop groupings.
