CNN and other media outlets sue Trump

CNN, MS NOW and Politico have sued US President Donald Trump and other members of his administration over the ban on their entry to the White House grounds.

Postxronika.az reports, citing Reuters, that the media outlets said the ban violates the freedom of speech and the press guaranteed under the First Amendment to the US Constitution.

They have asked a federal court in Washington to issue a temporary restraining order to halt the ban. Trump announced the ban on Friday and defended his decision on Monday, claiming the media outlets pose a threat to national security.
